The FRIENDS

A Vision for the Future

The Friends of Cullen Nature Preserve and Bird Sanctuary is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization governed by a volunteer board of directors.

MISSION

Our mission is to honor the vision of Ann Cullen Smith while ensuring the preservation and restoration of the Preserve’s native flora, water quality, and wildlife populations including birds. Partnering with the City of Minnetonka, the Friends of Cullen Nature Preserve and Bird Sanctuary helps facilitate the restoration of the property, and low-impact, passive-use opportunities, where people may foster their understanding and enjoyment of the natural world through bird watching, nature study, hiking, and quiet reflection.
